《理论语言学五道口站》（2022年第14期，总第217期）继续与大家分享“Linguistics Flash-Mobs”系列线上会议。本次会议时间为2020年6月12日，辩论双方为法国法兰西学院普通语言学首席教授、北京语言大学语言学系荣誉系主任Luigi Rizzi和西班牙巴塞罗那自治大学西班牙语言学系助理教授 Ángel Gallego。两位参会者就“Phases & Minimality（语段与最简性）”一题展开讨论，由英国剑桥大学Theresa Biberauer担任主持。

人物简介
Luigi Rizzi
Luigi Rizzi，法国法兰西学院普通语言学首席教授，美国语言学会荣誉会员，英国皇家科学院通讯研究员、欧洲科学院院士，美国艺术与科学院国际荣誉院士、美国国家科学院（国际）院士，他曾在意大利锡耶纳大学和瑞士日内瓦大学担任教授，并曾在美国麻省理工学院、马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校、加州大学洛杉矶分校和法国巴黎高等师范大学等多所学校任职。2019年，Luigi Rizzi教授受聘为北京语言大学语言学系荣誉系主任。他的研究领域为句法理论、罗曼语和日耳曼语的比较句法及语言习得研究，特别关注儿童形态句法发展，以及局域性理论在语言发展中的作用。
Luigi Rizzi holds the chair of General Linguistics at Collège de France, Paris and is an honorary member of the Linguistic Society of America, a corresponding fellow of the British Academy, a member of Academia Europaea, an honorary international member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, an international member of the National Academy of Sciences (USA). Previously, he was a professor at the University of Siena and at the University of Geneva. He also was on the faculty of MIT, UMass Amherst, UCLA, Ecole Normale Supérieure. His research interests include syntactic theory and comparative syntax of Romance and Germanic languages. Since 2019, Prof. Luigi Rizzi has been appointed as the Honorary Director of Department of Linguistics at BLCU. He also works on language acquisition, with particular reference to the development of morphosyntax, and the role of locality in language acquisition.
Ángel Gallego
Ángel Gallego，西班牙巴塞罗那自治大学西班牙语言学系助理教授 。同时，他也是理论语言学中心(CLT)成员之一。他的研究兴趣为理论句法学及语言变体。
Ángel Gallego is a Professor Agregat at the Departament de Filologia Espanyola of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is also a member of the Centre de Lingüística Teòrica (CLT). His research interests include theoretical syntax and linguistic variation.
Theresa Biberauer
Theresa Biberauer，英国剑桥大学理论与应用语言学研究助理，其研究兴趣为理论句法学，比较句法学及历史句法学。
Theresa Biberauer is a Principal Research Associate at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at the University of Cambridge. She is interested in theoretical, comparative and historical syntax.

Is there a redundancy between phases and minimality?
How the Phase Impenetrability Condition (PIC) and the Relativized Minimality (RM) might help us understand the striking asymmetries in the island domain？
Which are the relevant properties that determine phasal heads/ intervention effects?

在当前的特殊时期下，我们特推出“Linguistics Flash-Mobs” 系列视频会议，以期保持语言学社团的紧密联系。接下来的每场会议中，两位著名学者将使用不同的框架对学界长期存在的理论问题进行一场场妙趣横生的“论战”！
此次线上活动由Cecilia Poletto主办，C. Gianollo, A. Giorgi, C. Guardiano, M. T. Guasti, M. R. Manzini, E. Pagliarini, E. Sanfelici, A. Tomaselli协办。
"Linguistics Flash - Mobs" is a series of video conferences thought to be a way to keep the linguistic community connected during this troublesome period. In each conference, two seminal scholars will face long-standing theoretical issues making use of different frameworks: fun is guaranteed with these "sword fights"!
